P6 Reporting DB R2 is included as a restricted use license with P6 Analytics R1. All user licenses purchases for P6 Analytics grants rights to the Reporting DB to those same users. OBI is a separate purchase and pre-requisite for P6 Analytics. P6 Reporting DB can run on Oracle databases and does not require OBI.
The combination of P6 information and Oracle BI presents an intuitive interface for communicating portfolio and project performance. Using the Oracle BI interface, individuals can instantly drill through individual projects all the way down to the lowest level of detail to find the contributing factors to project performance and health. In addition to P6 information, Oracle BI provides a foundation to blend information from multiple sources to provide a holistic, single source of truth for organizations that are rely on project success for their business.
